Jocelyn Leialoha Doane
Jocelyn Leialoha Doane was raised primarily in Mililani, and her ohana is most recently from Honolulu, Kaneohe, Maili and Hilo. She is a graduate of Hawaii’s public school system from pre-school through graduate school, earning her law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law with a specialized certificate in Native Hawaiian law and her MBA from the Shidler College of Business. Doane has been an advocate for the preservation of Native Hawaiian claims to the ceded lands and the Public Land Trust, and protection of Native Hawaiians’ right to exercise their traditional and customary practices.
