This is a place of stories.

It’s a place where people talk story.

Well, one thing we want to do at Civil Beat is enlarge the conversation, to let you talk story with a much larger community. So this Thanksgiving, we thought it would be worthwhile to ask readers to submit their stories, especially their stories of acts of aloha.

We’ll publish a selection for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Please try to keep your stories under 600 words. E-mail them to news@civilbeat.com by the end of the day Wednesday, Nov. 24. Please include your daytime phone number and name. We welcome pictures, too. And if you have a video you’d like to include, upload it to Youtube and let us know where to find it.

We look forward to sharing your stories on Thanksgiving Day.
