Hawaii House District 50 includes Kailua and a portion of Kaneohe Bay.

While they agree on some issues and diverge on others, Mitch Roth and Kimo Alameda differ sharply in style and presentation.

If approved, a charter amendment on the November ballot would allow citizens to serve two consecutive terms or 10 years, whichever is greater.

Mayor Mitch Roth opposes the charter change, saying it wouldn’t allow enough time to search for the best department heads.

Hawaii Senate District 22 includes Ko Olina, Nanakuli, Maili, Waianae, Makaha and Makua.

Hawaii House District 29 includes Kamehameha Heights, Kalihi Valley and a portion of Kalihi.
