The announced Monday that Tulsi Gabbard will headline the event鈥檚 annual Ronald Reagan Dinner this weekend in Orlando, Florida.
The dinner Friday will be keynoted by right-wing radio host Glenn Beck.
Gabbard, who ran for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, has recently been highly critical of President Joe Biden and liberal lawmakers.
According , “Having a popular Democrat speak at the group鈥檚 main dinner, to be held Friday, is an ‘extraordinary event,’ said a spokeswoman. Two hours after this was posted, the dinner sold out, said CPAC boss Matt Schlapp.”
CPAC is an annual political conference and a marquee event for Republicans, especially presidential candidates. Featured speakers this year include Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and many other well-known media and political figures on the right.
Scheduled talks on include “The Moron in Chief,” “Why the Working Class Hates the Democrats,” “Fire Fauci,” “Are you ready to be called a racist: The courage to run for office,” “Making Middle East Peace Great Again,” “Obamacare Still Kills” and “Put Him to Bed, Lock Her Up and Send Her to the Border.”
The four-day event, which begins Thursday, will conclude Sunday with a live performance by Lee “Proud To Be An American” Greenwood.
Gabbard represented Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District in Washington, D.C., from 2013 to 2021.
