Next Stop, Wailuku! Civil Beat鈥檚 Pop-Up Newsroom Is Heading To Maui
Members of our team will be at the Wailuku Public Library next week.
We are headed back to Maui again on Monday.
Several of our journalists plan to post up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wailuku Public Library as part of our ongoing Pop-Up Newsroom series.
We hope to hear from community members about the issues that matter to you. We鈥檙e also available to answer any questions you may have about Civil Beat or our approach to journalism.
Reporters Allan Kew, Christina Jedra and editor Nathan Eagle will be among those attending along with members of our business team, including Ben Nishimoto, vice president of operations and philanthropy, and Eduardo Hern谩ndez, major gifts manager.
Civil Beat has been holding these informal pop-up events since October of last year throughout the state. Come chat for a few minutes, linger for a few hours, whatever works.
