Meet House District 39 Candidates At The Next Civil Beat Pop-Up
Join us for an election-focused pop-up newsroom on Wednesday.
Candidates for House District 39 will answer questions from Civil Beat reporter Blaze Lovell at the next pop-up newsroom aimed at giving voters more information about the people running for office in their area.
The district, which takes in , is seeing a re-match this year between incumbent Elijah Pierick, a Republican, and Democratic challenger Corey Rosenlee.
Pierick defeated Rosenlee two years ago in the race for what was then an open seat. The seat came open when former Rep. Ty Cullen, a Democrat, was convicted and sent to prison for bribery-related charges.
Wednesday’s forum is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Ewa Beach Country Club, 91050 Fort Weaver Road in Ewa.
The discussion includes questions from the audience as well as from the Civil Beat moderator. There’s plenty of time for mingling, too.
