Mazie Hirono Tells William Barr To Resign
The Hawaii senator鈥檚 cross examination of the U.S. attorney general goes viral.
The junior senator from Hawaii was featured prominently in national media Wednesday after asking tough questions of Attorney General William Barr.
Mazie Hirono, a Democrat, accused Barr of lying to Congress over the Mueller report and demanded that he resign.
Hirono, as , said Barr betrayed the American public’s trust.
Hirono’s remarks prompted Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina of slandering Barr.
鈥淚 do not think that I鈥檓 slandering anyone,鈥 Hirono responded.
