Businesses across Hawaii are being designed to identify what businesses will continue to need assistance and to help plan for restoring the economy.
The survey is being conducted by Chambers of Commerce across the state and the University of Hawaii Economic Research Organization.
鈥淎ccurate data on what businesses are experiencing will allow us to shape our continued response and put resources where they are needed,鈥澛燬herry Menor-McNamara, President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii said in a statement.
鈥淭he information from this survey will help UHERO analyze the impact of the COVID-19 shutdown on businesses and households statewide, and聽to better assess our existing projections,鈥澛燯HERO Executive Director Carl Bonham added.
鈥淭his type of geographic and industrially-detailed information is not available from any traditional data source in real time, and it will be invaluable to our聽ongoing聽work.鈥
