Civil Beat’s Pop-Up Newsroom Is Heading To Laupahoehoe
Members of our team will be at the public library Wednesday.
We are off to Hawaii island this week!
Several reporters, a couple editors and our social media guru plan to post up from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Laupahoehoe Public Library as part of our ongoing Pop-Up Newsroom series.
We hope to hear from community members about the issues that matter to you. We’re also available to answer any questions you may have about Civil Beat or our approach to journalism.
Expected in attendance from Civil Beat for this one are: deputy editors Nathan Eagle and Matthew Leonard; reporters Paula Dobbyn, Kevin Dayton and Thomas Heaton; as well as Ku鈥榰 Kauanoe, who manages our social media accounts.
In partnership with the , Civil Beat has been holding these informal pop-up events since October throughout the state. Come chat for a few minutes, linger for a few hours, whatever works.
