Members of our team will be at the public library Tuesday.

We are headed to Hawaii island next week!

Reporters, an editor and members of our social media and business team plan to post up from noon to 6 p.m. at the Kailua-Kona Public Library as part of our ongoing Pop-Up Newsroom series.

We hope to hear from community members about the issues that matter to you. We鈥檙e also available to answer any questions you may have about Civil Beat or our approach to journalism.

Reporter Thomas Heaton, editor Matthew Leonard, social media guru Ku鈥榰 Kauanoe and Ben Nishimoto, vice president of operations and philanthropy, will all be attending.

In partnership with the , Civil Beat has been holding these informal pop-up events since October throughout the state. Come chat for a few minutes, linger for a few hours, whatever works.

In the meantime, you can check out our聽Pop-Up Newsroom landing page聽to see videos of what people in the communities we鈥檝e visited have to say about their hometown.
