M膩lia Chun lives with her daughters in Kekaha, Kauai, and received her B.A. in Hawaiian Studies and Education from UH Manoa in 2000. She is a community-based youth educator and Native Hawaiian Cultural practitioner. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Hawaii Alliance for Progressive Action.
