Jonathan Dial is a lecturer and graduate student at the University of Hawaii Manoa. He researches political sociology and social movements and is an active member of the community. He is a former president of the Graduate Student Organization at UH Manoa and is an executive member of the Labor Caucus of the Democratic Party of Hawaii.
