“I am Kanaka Maoli and will feed the people in Congress and staff members chocolate macadamia nuts, coffee and cook meat Jun.”
Editor’s note: For Hawaii’s Nov. 5 General Election, Civil Beat asked candidates to answer some questions about where they stand on various issues and what their priorities will be if elected.
The following came from Shelby Billionaire, We The People candidate for U.S. Senate. His opponents are Democrat Mazie Hirono, Republican Bob McDermott and Green Party candidate Emma Pohlman.
Go to Civil Beat’s Election Guide for general information, and check out other candidates on the General Election Ballot.
Candidate for US Senate
Community organizations/prior offices held
1. What is the biggest issue facing Hawaii, and what would you do about it?
Human trafficking/smuggling. I need your help to build after care programs and facilities nationwide for all survivors of human trafficking. In life, there are people that make things happen. There are others that watch things happen and the last group of people say “What happened?” If you won’t stop human trafficking and smuggling, who will?
2. What can the U.S. Congress do to reduce gun violence?
Either raise the price of ammunition or teach everyone in the U.S. how to properly use firearms utilizing the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
The people in Texas know what to do and so do their kids. I highly doubt all the members of the U.S. Congress can reduce gun violence with a piece of paper and wasted ink. The No. 1 language in the United States is Spanish, not English.
You have a better chance making a video in Spanish to reduce gun violence than in English. “Cocomelon” has a better shot at reducing gun violence in a baby video on YouTube than Congress.
3. The polarization in Congress is worse than ever. Some say democracy itself is in trouble. How would you work to end the political polarization that divides both the Congress and the country?
I pledge allegiance to my flag and to the republic for which it stands for; one nation indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Pikachu was raised old school and was brainwashed like most of you, but if you read the pledge of allegiance again; we are not a democracy, we are a republic; run by the oligarchy Illuminati as a literal “circus” to control the people in the U.S. via a donkey and elephant show.
One of them is blue and the other one is red. What happened to being white? If Pikachu has to choose a color on my flag, then I choose white and will take the middle path as foretold by Buddha.
I am Kanaka Maoli and will feed the people in Congress and staff members chocolate macadamia nuts, coffee and cook meat Jun; because the food isn’t free in the D.C. cafeteria. If they are full, then they can’t complain and if they want to order more, now we have the ability to make direct sales from Hawaii to another state via shipping.
4. Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, while currently financially sound, risk future funding concerns because of changing demographics. What would you propose to shore up the country’s major safety net programs?
I do not expect to ever receive Social Security in my entire lifetime, unless I qualify for 100% medical disability. The entire system is broken with trillions of dollars in debt growing with more illegal alien immigrants flooding the country and taking advantage of the welfare system, while the average U.S. citizen is working two or three jobs to make ends meet.
The system isn’t fair and neither is life. Unfortunately the Big Pharmaceutical companies are taking advantage of the Baby Boomer population and are getting human beings addicted to their drugs; even though there are all-natural remedies found in nature used in apothecary.
If you want to reduce the costs of these programs then you have to eliminate inefficiencies, fraud, waste and abuse. Are we really taking care of our own people? Social Security is not enough to survive monthly and all of these programs need major overhaul.
I propose you teach your keiki how to become self-sufficient, build their own hale, catch their own food, grow their own vegetables and become a strong person without relying on the programs mentioned above. The safety net is you, the parents and grandparents.
5. Currently, the filibuster rule in the U.S. Senate has prevented the chamber from voting on critical issues. Should it be eliminated? Why?
Yes, because it’s stupid and a “stonewalling” political maneuver used to prevent legislation from passing. Eliminate inefficiencies and unproductivity.
6. Is the U.S. on the right path when it comes to mitigating climate change and growing renewable energy production? What specific things should Congress be considering?
Not at all. If you watched “Captain Planet” growing up, then you would know automatically which powers combined will help save this planet: earth, fire, wind, water, heart. Congress has lost its heart and has become corrupted by greed and polluters.
Instead of cleaning the ocean, which produces more oxygen than land, it’s getting worse due to pollution. Instead of planting more trees, they are actually deforesting them; as foretold in the movie “FernGully: The Last Rainforest.”
Congress wouldn’t understand fully, until you gave them water from Red Hill to drink and shower with. In reality it’s not up to Congress to make the world a better place, it is up to you and me, we the people of planet Earth.
7. What is your view on the U.S. role in foreign policy? What can the U.S. do to build better relations with the Asia-Pacific region?
Security, prosperity and the creator of a better world are the three most prominent goals of American foreign policy. However, the U.S. has been criticized for making statements supporting peace and respecting national sovereignty while carrying out military actions such as in Grenada, fomenting a civil war in Colombia to break off Panama, and Iraq.
The U.S. has been criticized for advocating free trade while protecting local industries with import tariffs on foreign goods such as lumber and agricultural products. The U.S. has also been criticized for advocating concern for human rights while refusing to ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The United States breaks its treaties all the time and only helps those where it gets something in return; utilizing the CIA to overthrow governments like Ukraine in 2014, Saddam Hussein in Iraq and Queen Lili’uokalani on Jan. 17, 1893, under an act of war declared by President Grover Cleveland.
If you want to build better relationships with our Asia and Oceania neighbors, then you need to learn their language, culture, customs, food and have an international beach barbecue with them. Hawaiians build trust first.
8. Should the state renew the U.S. military’s leases on training grounds in Hawaii? Should there be new conditions on the leases and if so what?
The U.S. military doesn’t have a choice and they are gearing up for war with China, North Korea and Russia in the Pacific. China will invade Taiwan, North Korea will hit South Korean and Japan, Russia will swoop in from the top while the U.S. is fighting multiple-theater war fronts.
This will make the Hawaiian Islands the most strategic base. The U.S. and the commander-in-chief need to pay proper lease rents for all the back years plus restitution, back to the people of the Hawaiian Islands and their children. The $1/year lease is a joke and was made to make a fraudulent lease look valid. It’s pure bollocks.
Nobody wants to pay fair market value lease rent based on square footage.
