A city contractor’s precision paint job precedes the University of Hawaii women’s soccer matches in Waipahu.

The University of Hawaii women’s soccer team plays at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex Stadium, a Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation facility.

Last Wednesday morning, Danny鈥檚 Airless Equipment owner Rich Wentling marched up and down the field spray-painting the lines for the Rainbow Wahine’s Big West Conference season opener on Thursday against the University of California, Davis.

The paint held up for Sunday’s non-conference match against Hawaii Pacific University, and UH performed well enough within the lines to win both contests.
