Bullying is the new (or maybe NOT so new) "normal". In business; in public; in schools...it is all about "my way, or the highway" and the squeaking wheels rule. Collaboration, cooperation, civility, and compromise are the rare exception any more. I've worked for numerous companies here on Oahu where employers brought staff members to tears regularly, where labor laws were boldly ignored, where even the most common courtesy was frequently ignored. Aloha sounds like such a good thing, but it really is nothing more than just a marketing "brand" anymore. While certainly some embrace the spirit, most do not.

Don't know how I feel about the cartoon. What I know is Kahikina came out of the Caldwell administration and to see Blangiardi getting her back makes me wonder how the three are all connected. Kahikina knows how to play the press. Hanabusa may have walked into it. Really who cares? The money is the issue here. It'll never be right, call it quits and use the money to help people with their housing and other lip service issues.

Why are these professionals letting their "feelings" get in the way of them working together? Moreover, how/why is Blangiardi expected to moderate feelings and sentiment when both are subjective to the perception of each individual involved?
