So many rail haters. Talk to me in ten years when the the rail and it's surrounding areas are booming. Just an incredible lack of vision by many. The same was said about the Erie Canal when it was being built.

Its utterly unbelievable how this rail boondoggle never ends芒聙娄 No riders, construction cost over runs, construction infrastructure snafus, poor leadership from day one & it goes on and on芒聙娄 The only winners are contractors building it and politicians two decades ago who supported rail and garnered votes from it芒聙娄 They stated we have a "mandate" - that mandate was 51% for & 49% against - not exactly a mandate. Those of us who opposed can now say "we told you so" as a consolation芒聙娄 sad just sad - we could have most likely built many brand new public school campuses with what it will cost us to finish rail芒聙娄 As my buddy calls it "The Mufi Choo Choo Train" .
