Let HECO file for chapter 11 and find a buyer that will bail them out, because they are a monopoly, but has the buyer put in the money to upgrade the system and infrastructure that is sorely needed as a condition of purchase. This would be a win-win for the public and Hawaii.

Aloha,Again I am reiterating that HECO must be held accountable for the fire and other poor decisions regarding the power grid in Hawaii. As a Public Utility, HECO needs to have current management removed for the poor decisions regarding our grid. PUC must also make HECO a "Non Profit" organization and divest itself of American Savings Bank.New management must be brought in to get back to their fiduciary duties to the State, similar to what Boeing is doing with their management team.Unless these moves are done, HECO will continue to prioritize profits over responsible actions. You guys keep voting for this every single election. Just because people promises a carbon neutral eco-utopia doesn't mean they can actually deliver.
