This cartoon speaks volumes. But in all seriousness, the moat should be filled with Hawaii's problems: a small landfill, invasive species carcasses, a pothole-filled road eroded by the sea, a small houseless encampment, and yes, some of those rail frogs. If lawmakers have to at least look at the problems facing our State every morning they walk into the building, maybe they'll feel more urgency to enact legislation and demand its implementation.
