Gambling here is as illegal as fireworks.

Just imagine, if someone could actually get Lawmakers on board to believe limited Gambling rooms ( being tables only or Slots only, Lottery only, Keno ) The positive revenue the State would benefit from ? Millions to start, I honestly feel this cry about increase in crime and illegal activity would get way out of hand. All that is rubbish, its not like 25 Gambling rooms are going to open all at once, 1 Poker room with "X" amount of tables operating on regulated times (Say 10 am to 11:30 pm 6 days a week) . When I lived in San Diego they did just that, poker room with no more than 8 tables with a start time of 9 am, and to make sure that happened "Table Bosses" would have the Deck of cards locked up and they wouldn't be issued before 08:55 am. in the middle of the tables in a sealed box. The reason I bring this up is because the Poker room I played in for 10 yrs. very very little issues involving fights . I just think you need to give something a try on starting something that people like to do and at the same time make good revenue with the people of Hawaii sharing smiles like the old times.
