The world that the 2nd amendment originated in is deader than a doornail.We live in a time where children are raised from earliest infancy immersed in a life of vapid, banal, stupid, and meaningless entertainment. It is difficult in the extreme to grow into a full adult in the sort of social world we now live in. Personality disorders run riot and have for at least the past 70 years and thereâs a great deal more to it then the few extreme examples the mass media presents to us.Itâs not enough to raise your own children. Someone has to raise all the other children brought into this world by those that canât be bothered to bring them up properly. Popular culture has been doing a lot of the child raising for some time now.Most people still have sufficient virtue but, if even a few do not, it ruins it for everybody and there is not much that can be done but to resort to despotism and tyranny in one form or another.

The eagerness of some people to use a tragedy in order to push their political agenda is awful. The idea that lawful citizens should surrender their weapons because the police will keep us safe and defend us is clearly based on a false premise.

I'm sorry, what is this regarding? I've already forgotten and have "moved on" thanks to political "leaders" who downplay every weekly mass murder in this country.
