the requirement is a conservative one because younger children can not get the same number of vaccine shots. you can not assume age by grades the student is in since there can be some that were younger when they started kindergarten. others may have been held back, even more than once. you also do not know if their families are all up to date on their vaccinations. so this is a more common sense decision.

On when hand we have people, who for years have been fine with government telling them what body parts they must cover while in public, suddenly thinking thatâs government overreach. On the other hand we have people who think stopping one person from getting the virus and possibly dying or having long Covid, is worth the slight inconvenience of continuing to wear masks. Especially since public schools arenât able to do social distancing. I know what side Iâm on.
