Hawaii Logs 4th Straight Day Of More Than 600 New COVID-19 Cases

Hawaii reported 643 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, marking the fourth consecutive day of cases over 600.
According to Lt. Gov. Josh Green, hospitalizations also ticked up to 213. He reports the state鈥檚 positivity rate is at 7.11%.
There were no new fatalities reported. The state鈥檚 COVID-19 death toll stands at 542. Overall, there have been 46,503 cases in Hawaii since the start of the pandemic.

There were also 11 new out-of-state infections.
Over the last 14 days, the state says there have been 5,508 new infections.
The state does not report daily on the vaccination status of those who contract COVID-19.
Some 60.6% of the state鈥檚 population is fully vaccinated, while 67.8% have received at least one dose.
