The people in power know that they cannot be touched so they don't even try to hide their actions.聽

Hanabusa herself stated that they have to remember that this project is taxpayer funded so they have a "responsibility" to ensure that the "taxpayer" receives "value" for their dollar. (Translation: we have to keep this project going no matter the cost and keep justifying it to the public to gain acceptance.

I'm of the belief Hanabusa is the smartest government official! She knows how to work the system and seems to have an edge over all of them! Kind of scary, but maybe the best Mayor or Governor ever if elected!聽
