HAWAII VIRUS TRACKER — Feb. 5: 101 New COVID-19 Infections

Hawaii health officials reported Friday including 64 on Oahu, 25 on Maui, three on the Big Island, one on Lanai, and eight residents diagnosed out of state.

No new fatalities were reported. The is 416.

Daily reports reflect laboratory results collected up until 11:59 p.m. two days prior, leaving a 36-hour lag between when results are submitted to the Department of Health and when the state reports them publicly.

Statewide, 1.8% of people tested during the past week have been confirmed to have COVID-19. In Maui County and on Oahu, that figure was 2.4%. Oahu has been in Tier 2 of its reopening plan since October.
