Hawaii health officials reported 78 on Monday, including 65 on Oahu, four on Hawaii island, two on Maui, one on Lanai, and one on Kauai. Five residents were diagnosed out of state.

Three case clusters identified on Oahu by health officials involve the health care community, according to Honolulu , who did not provide any more details.

The state health department does not provide information publicly about active COVID-19 case clusters it monitors.

The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency launched a that includes the health department’s statistics along with some new details, such as a county-by-county summary of hospital resources. The website serves as a one-stop-shop for links to other information about visitor arrivals, state tax revenues, unemployment claims and bankruptcy filings from other state departments.

In the last seven days, 1.8% of all COVID-19 tests taken across the state have come back positive — a significant decrease from a peak of 6.8% on Aug. 27.

The statewide official death toll is 219 and the state’s COVID-19 death rate is 1.45%.

Civil Beat calculates at least 228 people have died from the disease in Hawaii including confirmed deaths on Hawaii island that have not been recorded yet by the Department of Health due to medical verification lags.

Oahu is currently in . Lanai is under a stay-at-home order and has recorded 100 cases since last week.
