The state COVID-19 death toll stands at 169 but does not include due to reporting lags. Civil Beat calculates 191 people have died because of the disease.
Roughly a third of all coronavirus cases identified in the state so far have been among people under 30 years old. with the virus in Hawaii since the start of the pandemic, approximately 7% of everyone diagnosed.
Since March, Hawaii officials have identified 13,514 people infected with the COVID-19 virus, 95% of whom are Hawaii residents.
There are currently 103 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in the state, including 34 people in intensive care units. Hawaii hospital beds are , including both COVID-19 patients and other patients.
