3 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed On Oahu
UPDATED: The patients are part of an Oahu family and a cluster of about seven infections, state health officials said.

Two children and one adult in a family were confirmed to have the disease, Department of Health Director Bruce Anderson said at a press conference.
“We have seven cases associated with this extended family situation,” he said. “The Hawaii Public Housing Authority is providing outreach to this community and we’re following up on this.”

No new deaths were reported Wednesday, and the remained at 17, including 11 deaths on Oahu and six on Maui.
Oahu has documented the most . To date, 414 people have tested positive from the virus — with 376 of them considered not to have the virus anymore and released from isolation.
As of Wednesday, the remained at 117, with 92 people released from isolation.
All 75 people who tested positive for COVID-19 in have been released from isolation. The same is true for the 21 people who had tested positive on Kauai.
No new hospitalizations were reported on Wednesday. To date, 81 people have required hospitalization, but the Department of Health does not  how many people are currently hospitalized and how many have been discharged.
More than 37,436 people have been tested in Hawaii to date. Testing capabilities have improved across islands, Anderson said Wednesday.
Seven new private laboratories including two each on Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island and one on Kauai have the ability to conduct either diagnostic tests or antibody tests, he said.
Health officials also announced Wednesday they were partnering with the University of Hawaii to train students to assist with contact tracing — the epidemiological method to track the contacts of patients who are infected. As many as 200 could be trained within the next couple of months.
The news comes as state officials have announced relaxations to stay-at-home-orders and given the green light to some businesses to reopen.
