For 52 years, John Carroll worked tirelessly and selflessly as a legislator and as an attorney to help those powerless to help themselves fight a system that is stacked or rigged against them in favor of the wealthy, powerful and politically connected.
His legal services were often provided for free, especially in cases like energy justice, social and economic justice, and protection of the aina.聽
He was never a “gold digger鈥 looking to get rich off the middle class and poor like others who put money over societal benefit and never give back.
He is trustworthy, honest, a man of integrity with sincere compassion and love for his fellow man, always willing to help someone in need to make their lives better and more financially secure, not just for his own 23 children,聽 grandchildren and great grandchildren, but for every resident of Hawaii.聽
At 88-plus, he still dances hula, rides a bike, works out at the gym and flies gliders at Dillingham. He welcomes anyone to fly with him.
Some folks will hold his age against him, but remember, no one is old until age 100 now!
John may be labeled a Republican, but he is an independent thinker who serves the needs of the public, not the needs of the party.
John is the only one who will work hard to fix the problems created by over 60 years of Democrat monopoly control with zero accountability to the people as a result of no balance of power.聽
Reject The Status Quo
Democrats will just continue to maintain the status quo, and the people will continue to suffer in silence under an oppressive monopoly government that supports the rich and powerful at the expense of society as a whole.
He already stated that he is only seeking one term as governor. Who else in politics has ever sought to serve selflessly for four years and then move on so someone else can serve, instead of spending the last two years of the first term trying to get re-elected to four more years?聽
Hawaii鈥檚 people have nothing to lose by voting for John Carroll, and everything to gain for themselves and their children and grandchildren.聽If John Carrol can pilot a glider and land it spot on, better than many young pilots, he can be counted on to pilot Hawaii to a better future for everyone.
