On Friday, after the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump, a group of University of Hawaii Manoa students, staff and faculty will hold a series of protests and marches around Honolulu.
, named to denote the date of Inauguration Day, was formed to “act on shared concerns about the campaign promises and rhetoric of President-elect Donald Trump,” according to its .
Workshops and teach-ins will be held across campus throughout the morning, according to , and marches are scheduled to begin later in the afternoon.
The four march routes聽go to Diamond Head, Ala Moana, Honolulu Zoo and a park at the intersection of Kaheka and King streets. Marchers on all four routes will then proceed to their final destination:聽a at the Waikiki Shell.
