TheÌýdeadline to register to voteÌýonlineÌýin the Nov. 8 general election is Oct. 10 — that’s Monday by 4:30 p.m.

(Note:ÌýEffective this year, qualified Hawaii residents who are not registered may go in-person to any early walk in voting location within their county to register and vote. That’s Oct. 25 throughÌýNov. 5.)

The state and county clerks will be holding drive-thru voter registration events at various locations statewide.

Folks canÌývisit a designated location to register or update their voter registration from the convenience of their vehicle, says state officials.

AndÌývoters also have a chance to drop-off completed voter registration forms atÌýthe same locations.

To be eligible to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, a Hawaii resident and at least 18 years of age.

Completed voter registration forms must be submitted to aÌýcounty clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Mailed applications must be postmarked to by Saturday,ÌýsinceÌýthe USPS will be closed on MondayÌýin observance of Columbus Day / Discovers’ Day / Indigenous Peoples Day.
