To mark Halloween, then, here’s another little item from , the personal finance website: Honolulu is No. 18 when it comes to .

The criteria include candy sales and costume spending.

Santa Ana, Calif., is No. 1 while Birmingham, Alabama, is No. 100.

Honolulu ranks No. 1, however, for having the most candy and chocolate stores per capita.

But we are also No. 96 for the lowest percentage of people aged 14 and under. That’s no doubt due to good longevity rates.

Here’s another fun little nugget nationally:聽72 percent of parents say they steal Halloween candy from their kids.
