Gary Johnson has qualified聽to be on聽the Hawaii ballot in November.

Johnson, a聽former Republican governor of New Mexico, is running with聽vice presidential partner Bill Weld, a former Republican governor of Massachusetts.

“They will emphasis the importance of adopting policies that respect individual liberty, economic freedom and a reduced role for government,” according to a press release from the .

The party added, “As governor or New Mexico Gary Johnson cut taxes 14 times and left the state with new highways, bridges, schools hospitals and a billion dollar surplus.聽As governor of Massachusetts Bill Weld cut taxes 21 times and took state unemployment from the highest among the 11 industrial states to the lowest.”

Johnson and Weld are hoping to poll at least 15 percent nationally to qualify for the presidential debates.

Johnson in the high single digits with Green Party candidate Jill Stein not far behind.

Their campaigns offer an alternative to Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump who, you may have heard, are also running for the White House.
