On July 9, the聽Hawaii Education Summit will be held to聽discuss the benefits聽of the new聽Every Student Succeeds Act, according to a statement released by Gov. David Ige’s office.

The conference, to be held at the Hawaii Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., is open to the public and will seek feedback on the state’s public education system, according to the release.

Members of Ige’s ESSA team will be sharing their findings and recommendations.聽Keynote speakers will be announced soon, according to the release.
