They are , , , , and , who gathered at Mandalay Restaurant Monday where they each asked for $100 contributions.
Evans, McKelvey and Morikawa are from the neighbor islands, but Oahu appears to be a favored place to ask for cash.
Another recent fundraiser was held by , a Maui rep who, refreshingly, chose to raise money in his own district.
Ing’s contributions were between $25 and up to $1,000, and the fundraiser was held last Friday at Nalu’s Southside Grill in Kihei.
The Hawaii Legislature is still in business. Funny how so many lawmakers decide to ask for donations during that time. Wonder what’s up with that.
