Ernie Martin held Wednesday night at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club.

The suggested donation was $1,000.

Martin, chair of the Honolulu City Council, is term-limited and is set to serve on the Council until 2018.

Mayor Kirk Caldwell is up for re-election, of course. No challengers … yet.

This is Martin’s fifth fundraiser since February 2015, and his second in just the past two months.
