Mazie Hirono will head to Iowa this weekend to campaign for Hillary Clinton.
The U.S. senator will join Democratic Sens.聽Tammy Baldwin (Wisconsin), Amy Klobuchar (Minnesota) and Claire McCaskill (Missouri) on Friday and Saturday.
The senators, supporters and volunteers will travel across Eastern Iowa “to discuss what鈥檚 at stake for Iowa women and families in this election,” the campaign聽says,聽.
“The Senators will discuss Hillary Clinton鈥檚 commitment to moving America forward by guaranteeing women鈥檚 right to make their own healthcare choices,” the campaign adds.
The Iowa Caucus is Feb. 1. Clinton’s opponents are Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Martin O’Malley, the former governor of Maryland.
In November,聽Hirono joined 12 of her Democratic colleagues at a Washington, D.C., fundraiser on behalf of聽the presidential frontrunner.
Also in November,聽Hawaii’s other senator, Brian Schatz, campaigned for Clinton in New England.
