鈥淭hough being brave is part of the job, having an appropriate amount of fear and trepidation is healthy, and is what keeps me alive,鈥 Kimi Werner said in a Discovery news release Monday.
鈥淚t reminds me that I鈥檓 really so small and humbled in this big ocean,” she said. “I think the people who forget that are the ones who end up in danger.鈥
Werner takes a kayak out and then free dives off of it to depths of 150 feet to hunt her prey with a speargun.
Other fishers to be featured in the show include Adam King, Jay Kornegay, Rob Wong Yuen, brothers聽Kevin and Gareth聽Uyeda, Jason Schmidt, Jon Jon, Jason Valle, Devin Hallingstad, Andy Cho, Isaac Brumaghim and Boogie-D.
