Is 2014 the Year of the GMO?
Genetically modified organisms are energizing candidates and campaigns across the country.
This headline caught my eye this morning:
“GMOs Emerge As Campaign Issue, From Hawaii To Iowa”
The  is interesting reading if you’re following the issue as it plays out here in the islands. GMOs have inspired candidates — for and against — in Hawaii’s legislative races. And of course there’s the Maui County ballot measure that has a whole lot of people riled up.
