John Temple, Civil Beat’s founding editor, is back in Hawaii this week for a journalism conference.
This week also marks four years since Civil Beat opened its office in Honolulu.
So it seems like a good time to bring John in and catch up on the journalism scene nationally and in Hawaii. Later this week John is slated to give the keynote address to the Society of Professional Journalists Region 11 annual gathering.
On Wednesday at noon, we’ll livestream an interview with Chad Blair, also an original Civil Beat cast member.
We’d love you to join the discussion, too. Send in your questions and comments via Twitter to @civilbeat or via email to news@civilbeat.com. You can send in advance or during the broadcast.
