Welcome to “The Cut,” Civil Beat’s snappy new video built on PF Bentley’s timely and striking photos of recent days. As you can see, our chief photographer has been on the move. He hit the road, ventured into the Legislature, climbed up Diamond Head and even went up into the sky for a bird’s eye view.
Bentley also captured some prominent faces: Gov. Neil Abercrombie, Sens. Donna Mercado Kim, Clayton Hee and Laura Thielen, Reps. Faye Hanohano and Mark Takai, state budget chief Kalbert Young, well-known attorney Brook Hart and Judge Mike Wilson, who was confirmed to Hawaii’s Supreme Court on Monday after an intense legislative process.
