Kakaako has become a lot more colorful this week thanks to P, an annual art festival that brings together artists from around the world to create murals and share other forms of art.
The festival wraps up today and tomorrow with a party this evening to celebrate a print and toy exhibition and a block party tomorrow.
Much of the art can be seen just by walking around the neighborhood and watching artists transform building exteriors. But there are also several exhibits within various galleries, as well as at the .Ìý
and are sponsoring tonight’s party with exhibits at and .
Tomorrow’s block party, organized by Pow! Pow! Hawaii and , will include a fashion show by Illest and Puffer Hawaii, live music by Architect By Day, Robin Delight, Sebastian Hughes and Super HiFi, and food and fashion vendors.Ìý
Even though the festival officially ends this weekend, not all the exhibits will close.Ìý‘s exhibit featuring Gideon Gerlt and , will be open until Feb. 21.
