Ian Lind’s recent Civil Beat column recounted a court ruling that chastised Mufi Hannemann and his brother, Nephi, for the way they treated a pair of stagehands working a concert when Mufi was Honolulu mayor. Earlier columns by longtime political scribes Denby Fawcett and Chad Blair also mused that one of the things Mufi Hannemann will have to do if he hopes to rejoin the ranks of elected officials is tone down his tendency to tower over people, both literally and figuratively. That has political cartoonist John Pritchett thinking Mufi might need to make a change in the coming election year.
