Maui Beach Activity Dipped Slightly After Shark Attack

In the weeks following the shark attack on 20-year-old Jana Lutteropp, who died at Maui Memorial Medical Center a week after a shark bit off her right arm on Aug. 14, ocean activity and beach use did see a slight dip, but is now “back to normal,” according to local businesses and residents.
