A green employer is defined by the Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations as an enterprise in the clean energy sector or any other field that promotes sustainable practices.

The businesses range from Re-Use Hawaii and Hagadone Printing Co. to the Hawaii Wildlife Center and Hawaiian Electric Co. The database lists some companies multiple times. We did not count the duplicates in reaching our total.
