Schatz and Hirono Support Allowing A Vote On Gun Control
Both Hawaii senators this morning voted for a procedural motion to avoid filibuster and allow a vote on gun control measures, including toughening backgroiund checks.
The measure, while causing a firestorm in Washington D.C., isn鈥檛 expected to have a major impact on Hawaii, which already has background checks. Senators. Mazie Hirono and Brian Schatz were among those in the majoirity.
