Thehas completed all of the fieldwork for the archaeological survey required before work can resume on the $5.16 billion elevated-rail mass-transit project, HART said Monday in its email newsletter.
That work involved digging more than 400 trenches along the project鈥檚 20-mile route from Kapolei to聽, including 260 in the City Center phase between Middle Street and Ala Moana Center.聽
HART is now working on a report on its findings for the State Historic Preservation Division, which is part of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.聽
