A major land deal that transfers hundreds of acres of farmland from the George Galbraith Estate to the state has closed.聽
The total sales price for the $25 million parcel in central Oahu was brokered by the San Francisco firm, The Trust for Public Land. The state spent $13 million on the property, with additional funding coming from sources including the U.S. Army, the city and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.聽
