Twitter Helps Couple Get Married at Honolulu Airport During APEC
A Detroit couple traveling to Maui for their wedding got stuck in Honolulu Saturday.
So they held an impromptu wedding at the airport with members of the Twitter community as witnesses. APEC volunteers pitched in to make it all happen.
A travel agent had failed to book the last leg of their trip, according to tweeters. Talk about showing the spirit of Aloha, even during one of the craziest weekends in Honolulu history. Civil Beat was unable to reach the couple Sunday to find out more.
