At a weeklong technology workshop for teachers, hosted by Punahou School, nine middle school teachers from six public schools on Oahu’s Leeward coast learned about a renewable energy curriculum developed by the Maui Economic Development Board’s Women in Technology.

The workshop focused on how to teach that curriculum with technology. On the final day, teachers practiced their new skills on summer school students. Civil Beat was there to capture the experiment.
