Memo to Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie: It’s called the legislative branch for a reason.

In a handout for reporters announcing his budget for the state Monday, Abercrombie writes: “We cannot tolerate unnecessary delay or drama for the sake of advancing personal agendas or because we lack enough civic courage.”

“Tolerate”?

Does the governor really have a choice? He’s the head of the executive branch, not the legislative branch.
